I got one for my airgun. It's an OA 4x compact. I really like it. The optics are acceptable, clicks work well, solid construction. And CHEAP! For my rimfire I bought a Redfield 2-7. It's really nice; and you can get the parallax adjusted(to a more rimfire friendly yardage) by sending it to Leupold w...

If you watch the video closely, the second shot goes into the floor, right in front of him. He doesn't appear to be aiming at all.

I think he was trying to hit someone.

What amazes me is the security guard hit ONLY the shooter.

I was in high school less than ten years ago. (YA FEEL OLD???) One day, after deer season, I brought my backpack with 20 gauge slugs in it to school. I found them when I went to get a pencil in biology class. I was horrified. The backpack had lots of pockets. I had taken my books out and taken it de...

My father's department had two shootings in the last year. They both were long standoffs, the good guys had time to get the long guns, the bag guy decided to shoot.. Both bad guys got one or both 12 gauge slugs and .223 in the head and chest. Well, while this doesn't count much(they've never had dut...

Thank you for showing me that Scabbard! I'm not planning on using the gun for bear defense. It might be nice to load it up with slugs at night though. Bears are present, but never much of a concern. This is far backcountry, bears are still afraid of us. They don't see many coolers full of bacon + be...

Gun for backpacking.

My brother and I do a lot of backwoods camping. I want to start bringing a lightweight shotgun along. I already bring a .22 handgun, but a shotgun would make a hitting a running snowshoe hare much easier. First, caliber selection: 12, no way. Far too much gun. 20, I'd consider it. 410 is more like i...

Smith and Wesson Service

This is an update on a previous post.

I called Smith and Wesson today about my troubled 317. It shoots all over the place. The customer service rep was very kind and suggested I send it in for them to take a look. They emailed me a shipping label.

We'll see what they say.

S&W Model 43

I have the opportunity to buy a S&W Model 43. It's a real beauty. The frame is very black still and the blued parts are perfect, it locks up well and has a very small cylinder gap.

Looks like it's only been fired a few times. Can anyone tell me what you think of this gun?
