I have a RCBS chargemaster and it works well. Easy to program loads and very accurate. I have one of the older PACT dispensers and it is truely a POS. The PACT scale is OK as is the older Dillon that I have had ever since they introduced it. I have found the best way to use a digital scale is to jus...

Lee 1000

The very last thing that I would wish on my worst enemy would be a Lee 1000. It is the press I started on and looking back it's a miracle I continued to reload. Dillon all the way for me.

Ten or twelve years ago I ran across a very nice grade III Ithace Flues. 12 Gauge. Only shot it a couple of times. Finally someone wanted it more than I did. Just about doubled my money on that one.

I don't know what you plan on doing with the 410 but for most applications a shotgun scope is best. The Parallax and power is set at a range appropriate for a shotgun.

I have one of the older Tipton cleaning stations that I have used for years. Mounted many a scope with it. I recently bought a Tipton "Best" vise because someone had them on sale. I put it togeather but haven't really used it yet. I think it will be a lot better than the old one. Should work well fo...

I currently have a bunch of O/U's but have had three or four SXS's in the past. Looking down the barrels of a SXS is like looking down a sidewalk after shooting an O/U. There is a very nice high grade Ugartechea SXS 410 bore on one of the auction sites that I have my eye on. I think it would make a ...

I have had a Colt Hbar and a Bushmaster Varminter in the past. Both very good guns. Currently I have a LH Stag M4 that I assembled and a Rock River lower with a DPMS match upper. The Stag is the most fun of them all and the RR/DPMS is maybe the most accurate (maybe tied with the Bushmaster) Any of t...

I recently bought a left handed CZ 452 American. It shot great right out of the box! Doesn't seem to be too ammo sensitive. I have shot Prairie Dogs out to 100 yards or so using Winchester Power Points. I put a "Yodave" trigger kit in mine and got a nice 2# pull with very little creep. I'm going to ...

4.6 grains of W231 is a very light charge for a 185 gr bullet. Lymans 48th edition shows a starting charge of 5.4 grains of W231 with a 200 grain SWC. 4.6 grains should be safe with any 185 grain bullet made.

Nice looking 10-22! Parallax should not be an issue as long as you are looking through the center of the scope.

A good recoil pad can take a lot of the sting out of a hard kicker. I am partial to the X-Coil pad by HiViz. A stock that fits you is also a big help. It might not be worth it to put too much effort (money) into that gun unless you really like it as you will never get it back on resale.

According to my "Blue Book of Gun Values" these guns were made in Italy by Silma. The Lux Grade I, II, III & IV all had three inch chambers. Grade I & III came in 12 & 20 ga while the Grade II & IV were 12 ga only. Importation of these guns ended in 1988. Guns in 100% condition are worth from $280.0...

You just have to remove the powder measure from the press and dump it out. When it appears to be empty I manually cycle it over the powder container to get the last little bit out. Kind of primitive but it works.
