I would like one with only a long rifle cylinder as it shoots better because of the tighter bore. That's why I'm checking. They don't all have two cylinders.

Ruger SAA

I saw a used Ruger SAA in 22 with only a long rifle cylinder and was wondering if it was originally made with a magnum cylinder. The serial number is 263-11437 and was made about '92 or '93. Can you help?

No matter how many handguns I take, one is always a 22.

Those that do not qualify get ample time to practise with help untill they can qualify. They can only fire those calibers with which they qualify. If you do it with a 45 then you may shoot as a member a 45, 9mm, 38 and lower. As far as safety checking, I am a range safety officer.

They must hit 20 consecutive times in a two foot by two foot target showing good safety at all times of course.
By the way, thanks for all your help in the past!

22's

I qualify people at my range for membership. The target is 75 feet away and no one has been able to qualify yet with the Sig or Walther even though they can with a 45. Tells you something about the accuracy of those 22's. Stick with a Ruger or Smith 22A.

I have a Mark I as well as others but the picture shows a Standard with fixed sights as far as I can tell.

I have all kind of Blackhawks and Vaqs that I love but also have a great 686 S&W so it depends on how you intend to use it.

The Kimber 22 is so light you can't feel it in your hands. Too light for me.

I use CCI standard in both my Mark II's and a Smith 41 without any problems but they don't feed well in my 10/22. Don't know why.

I might add that the Mark III also has a magazine release button which the others do not have. The loaded chamber indicator is also an added feature, but of course, that falls into the safety stuff.
