try some Eley Sport ,its about the same price as the CCI as runs just as well. Just stay away from Remington there .22 ammo is crap

Ruger 22 This may sound bad but, If you ever have to use your weapon in a defensive situation .........you kill the him.......He was just trying to harm and or end your life . or the life of a loved one ,Stop him for good! ................also you dont want to go to court with him ...........I hope ...

.380 I dont believe Ive had any expereince with that cartridge . I may have shot one a time or two but thats it . Ive herd that they have a reputation for feeding troubles ,but like I said Ive no personal expereince with them . My main carry is a S-W model 65 3 inch in .357 and I also carry a spring...

.22 for defense ? not that a .22 isnt capable of killing but Im not trusting my life to one .........a defensive cartridge needs to stop the threat quickly 1 or 2 rds ............... .45, 10mm , .357 , .40......12 gauge.......

well ruger stated that any cracked MKIII upper would be replaced as long as theres no signs of abuse ............so I aint loosen any sleep if more of these guns break ruger will be aware of the issue and any of us shouldnt have a problem gettin our upper's replaced for free if they should break.......

I had one worked great for about 300 rds then it started Failure to fire , feed , and eject. I did everything i could to make it run and although i was able to make it run better I just wanted a MKIII more so I sold it ..........dont miss it at all

Rugers responce to my E-mail

I e mailed Ruger concerning the MKIII cracking of uppers and Ruger said that they do see 2-3 a year but it is rare . As long as there is no evidence of abuse they will replace the upper free of charge . And aslo they stated that the use of hyper velocity ammo is not recommended .........Keith

O.k. guys Just sent off a e-mail to ruger concerning the cracks that have developed in some MKIII uppers ..............As soon as they respond (3 working days ) I'll post their response to my e-mail and we'll have some good feed back on it.......................................I Hope ..........Keith

I have the KMK512 with a red dot which I shoot one handed 99% of the time . All rugers are kinda on the heavy side. but the 5.5 bull barrel on mine with the red dor balances fine. Clark Customs changes out Barrels on these ruger's you may want to look them up on the net .........Keith

Bullseye , Ive already made the sight adjustment , and the targets that I shot after that did reflect it . they just didnt look as good as that one ...I find the fundimentals from the Army pistol book very helpful ... I think I find my natueral piont of aim farely easy and my grip seems to be gettin...

Actualluy Georgezilla I'm working pretty hard to get targets to look like that .I havent been shooting bullseye style very long, 4-5 range sessions .I do enjoy it but I do find it difficult. when I was at the range shooting saturday there was a older fellow ,shooting a high standard with iron sights...

actually the way I scored it is ...............there's that 4 hole cluster at the 7:00 postion I scored it as 3 -9's and 1 -8 ...............but if you want to give me a 92 I"LL take it ......................keith
