I know several 'ladies' that use and carry large frame autos quite well. They'd certainly beg to differ on the small/j frame as being ideal. After seeing them shoot, I tend to concur with them. Perfect practice makes perfection.

Another neg for the Fastfire was it does not have a mount to fit the std weaver base. But if your going to remove the rear sight and not use your open it a very good option. didn't specify action type other than "revolver" - Ruger Single Six or Bearcat. The Bearcat is fairly dimunitive size wise and may fill the "needs".

I'm contemplating purchasing one of 3 red dots - Leupold Prismatic, Aimpoint Micro series or a Burris FastFire II. I like the smaller form factor of these models. I'm leaning to Aimpoint.

Thank You! I fully can see where that location would be confusing to its relation to lever adjustment, and also where the schematics fail. yes there should be a spring and plunger to 'tension' both the breech block and the lever.
