I've been expecting the price to go up. But if they do, then there might be more supply.

I wonder how many times you could use a fired case? All the firing pin crimps would block flow of primer I suppose.

The firing pin hits the rim hard enough to make a dent in the case. That's a pretty high pounds per square inch force to crush the rim and fire the cartridge. I doubt that the round falling a few feet and landing on the rim will approach that force.

No, $65

Actually, they sound like good .22 revolvers. $420 might not be a bad price.

Drop a .22 cartridge and injure yourself?

Here is a story about a woman who claimed to be injured from a dropped .22 cartridge. After all, it's a rimfire and all it has to do is land just right. A 3-foot drop has enough force to fire one?

Universal Background Checks, Washington State style

Washington seemed gun-friendly despite Seattle seeming to be left of Lenin. I was vacationing at my favorite landfill in the Seattle area last week. The press was ecstatic over passing of the Universal Background Check law. Want to let someone shoot your firearm at the range? Not without an FFL tran...

I shot an SP101 Tuesday. Excellent shooting .22. I'm tempted to get one. Maybe I'll get rid of the Taurus 94 as part of the deal.

Fixed sights seem more appropriate for the Bearcat.

GM Ignition Recall

The boss' '03 Impala was on the GM ignition recall. Since the last GM ignition switch I replaced was $700, I thought it might be worth it to address the safety issue. It turns out that the recall fix was modifying the existing keys . They remove all or part of the existing rubber head, put in a meta...
