I would contact S&W. I'm sure you can send it back for repair, more than likely, free repair.

Re: strength of fame

Thanks for the opinion, Madcratebuilder. Now I know it is a K frame. At some point in time, I heard that it was either an N frame or a K frame that should not be used for +P loads because the frame was strong enough. Can you help out on that question? Thanks, tb By the way, what is P&R'd?? The K fr...

The 19-3 is a fine revolver, P&R'ed K frame, one of my favorites.

I'm very happy with my Colt Gold Cup Trophy. Out of the box they can use a minor clean up, and if you shoot anything but target wadcutters you need to change the recoil spring. Thousands of rounds over ten years and no problems. There was not as many choices when I bought mine, some of these new rac...

There are some amazing cheap 1911 slides and cast frames in the new issue of shotgun news. I'm thinking .22 also.

Re: Springfield Armory M1A Loaded - worth the money?

As I tend to do from time to time, I've got the hots for another rifle. This time the apple of my eye seems to be an M1A. I can get a Loaded model from my local gun guy for about $1,500. Will I really love it enough to pay the tariff or should I just try to get it out of my mind? Bullseye, you know...

Both of those look very nice. Go check out rimfirecentral.com, in the super stock area, lots of info on making the 10/22 a tack driver yet keeping oem parts.

Don't want to hi-jack the thread here, but Madcratebuilder, is that a Yankee Hill Machine flip-up front sight on your AR? Ive got one of those on my S&W MP15A SBR and I really like it. I'll bet that's a YHM 2-piece railed handguard, also, right? By the way, welcome to the forum. (Like your 870, too...

The Mossberg or the Remington 870 are the most common. Check out shotgunworld.com's tactical section for tons of HD shotgun info. Here's a 870 loaded, it's a bit on the heavy side, I may go back to a more basic setup. The side saddles with ammo add a lot of weight. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/...
