with that much difference the cylinder could be off .0055 off center and
still be call in line.
I might make a bushing to go in cylinder with a .348 inside diameter or
a set of bushings say .348, .350, .352, .354 to check and see how close it
is or, is being off .0055 ok.

Hi, I checked it out best I could can't find any thing wrong thought I would make a range rod, I guess the ideal is to slide down barrel to make sure cylinder ligns up. What diameter should it be for different calibers .357 and ( would like to make one for 44 mag to), any have any info on this. Than...

Is there a place on the web where I can study how to check timing on
S&W model 10 38cal, just bought one but it has got burrs ang gouges where cylinder indexs. thought timing might be off.
