iF YOU CAN'T STOP A THREAT WITH 7 HITS FROM A 45, A LARGER MAGAZINE PROBABLY WON'T HELP..
IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT ONLY THE FIRST HIT COUNTS.

I find that when one is shooting off a vehicle hood it is very easy to NOT adequately get your shoulder behind the weapon. This allows the rifle to be held lightly and not pressed into the shoulder which allows the firearm to be held with the arms rather than the shoulder and body. The arms cannot a...

Shotgun chamber recess??

I have a 410 shotgun and it has a "recessed" 3" chamber--What I mean is the chamber is larger than the bore. None of my other 12 ga have this feature.

What is this type of chamber called?
Why is it made that way?
How does it affect performance?

Thanks for any help

Good point, so I would roughen the inside, try several types of glue such as instant glue, epoxy, black locktite (brownells) etc and hopefully you can get one that sticks. Make sure you clean the inside with acetone or lacquer thinner before roughing. Also after the swivel screw is attached it will ...

I would think one could epoxy a wood block inside of the stock and screw into that--assuming you can get inside.

Thanks for the help.
I think I'll go with a Truglo diamond compact shotgun 4X32 with parallax at 50 yards. It comes with Weaver rings for $65

I'm getting my grown daughter her first gun and have chosen a 22lr under a 410 shotgun. I'm looking for an inexpensive scope for up to 50 yards that will handle the recoil of a heavy 71/2 pound 410. I agree that a parallex of 50 yards would be great. I have a red dot on another rifle and have to pac...

410 scope

I have a 7.5 pound 410 shotgun and need help on a scope for it.
I'll be using 3 inch shells and wonder what kind of scope to use
Would a 22 mag scope handle thr recoil or do I have to get a shotgun scope?
Any advice would be appreciated

Remington SPR94 22/410 ?

I am looking for a backyard varmint gun out to 40 yards.
It is a first gun for my grown daughter and it has to be safely unloaded, capable of a second shot and versatile.
What seems to fit the criteria is the Remington combo 22 LR over a 410.

What are your thoughts on this rifle shotgun combo?

I've used ammonia water in a squirt gun. It works. Pepper spray is easier to carry. I always carry my 9mm when out walking, but I will use my "bear pepper spray" if needed. A good work boot to the chops would send a message too. H If you want another layer of dog protection add strained (coffee fil...

Action Magic II and Ballistol oil ??

I have been reading great things about Ballistol oil and Action Magic II super lube.
I cannot separate the hype from fact.
Are these products all they say they are? Would you use them on your firearms?

Thanks
