the 1911 is one of those guns i think every man should own.

i also appreciate the cost factor. and you can't go wrong with springfields (and im a kimber owner). but i personally would get at least a "loaded".

yup burris fastfire. they make a mount that fits into the rear sight notch.

i had planed to get that mount but i do like having the hunter FO sights as backup....



BTW the filler plate is in... 8)

i lucked out. With my left hand, barrel pointing right, i stuck my thumb in the ejection port and pressed on the LCI. Then i wiggled my thumb up and down, and the pin fell right out.

i was happy, because the only magnet i had was a bottle opener on the fridge. lol

i have no regrets. i love this MKIII. but ya, have regretted some in the past so i usually don't sell them. glockeyed How was that browning??? I would like to have a 2nd B.E. gun just because and I'm curious how did the browny stack up compared to the MKIII? Keith thats kinda tough. since it depends...

so all it takes is a bushing? wither VQ or Clark?

i took my new MK3 out and i can't stand that mag disconnect. i have removed it from my other guns, and my old 22/45 never had it.
