I've sprayed more doggies than people....I swear by it for dogs (bad dogs not good ones like Bear! :wink: OM)

regular ol' pepper spray work fine on dogs, no need for the bear juice, besides it ain't leagal in MI to carry anything over 2% OC or CS the OC/CS combo have been the best imho

the tac-sol ruger uppers do look way cool, and they would lighten up the MKIII quite a bit if you were to want it as a trail/walking around gun, I have heard they are really accurate, but unless you cleaned your barrell with a brush attached to a power drill :shock: the factory barrel shouldn't have...

My $$ would go to Grime and Goo under the bolt stop, try cleaning and lubing.....if that doesnt work maybe there is a burr on it somewhere and some polishing may clear it up...or its the mag. some times there are gremilins :shock:

The "bathtub ring" as Greener put it is a pain to clean out, I don't shoot too many 357 mags out of my gp100 so I get a good ring. i've found using one of the Foaming bore cleaners and letting it sit about 30-45 min loosens it up nicely and cuts down on the scrubbing. I don't have a springfield GI but I do have Springfield mil-spec...very nice gun, a bit looser than a kimber or my dad's taurus but it'll put 'em all in on big ol' hole at 15 yards. great "starter" 1911 especially if you want to customise it the way you want it rather than how the gun maker says you...

Yep. She let me cut the grass. She was out looking for Christmas Presents for young greener. Neither can fire without the trigger pulled allthe way to the rear....thare is a block that gets moved out of the way at the last moment befor firing... thats why they can beat on the back end with a hammer and not get a discharge
