http://www.eastovershoe.com/images/Sss.jpg I bought one, thinking it would fit my Blackhawk Convertible. I was wrong. I put it on my Single Six to check fit, and it did, but it was beyond ugly, and massive overkill besides. I normally value function over appearance myself, but this was just too ugl...

Love mine!

Learned to reload on Dad's back in the 60's, so when it came time for my own it was a no-brainer.

Same deal on the second caliber: Just as easy to buy a second press set up for 20ga.

Yet another reason I love living in Maine: no poisonous snakes.

I see the odd Garter Snake but that's about it.

What a coinkydink, I was just bemoaning the lack of a suitable holster for my Single Six.

Any chance of a picture of the finished product?

Check this sight (site). Almost the same sight a the other, but much less expensive. I have one on my 45-70 and really like it. The base can be pretty easily contoured to fit most tangs, depending on style. http://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman/catalogue-download/pdf/Sights.pdf Thanks, I bookmarked th...

NICE!

I want to put a tang sight on my Henry in .45LC

That price is about what a Marbles was going for last time I checked. I'd need someone to put it on for me tho, I couldn't bring myself to do the necessary D&T, I'm just not that good at it.

Any chance of a closeup of that tang?

I understand your question, and not to be a wisenheimer, but why do people choose Ford over Chevy? Ballistics are quite similar so a lot of it is that 40 or 10mm is the flavor of the week and sexier than that ancient old .45ACP. 40 is available in a lot of the newer polymer firearms which are lighte...

That's my thoughts. WAY too much money for too little gun IMHO. By about $300 in my estimation.

Every gun board I frequent has posts bemoaning the current state of QC at Marlin. Lotta folks not too happy with S&W or Sig at the moment either. I think it's a sign of the times. Everybody is cutting everything to the bone in search of more profits. Makes my collection of old shootin' arns look pre...

I knew I liked that guy... :D
