The lead away cloth should work fine. Just give it time to work. Also the special Lead wire brush works good to. It will grab the lead above the rifling. I have not been able to find any bulk ammo locally, been looking for over a month now. My local gun range does have some 22 ammo, but they are exp...

After following this thread I had one magazine that would not eject without pushing up on the mag then press the release. So I did some comparison to my good one. I found the mag release catch was 0.003" higher than the one that worked. I took my pocket knife and did a couple of scrapes, now it fall...

I have been able to some rapid fire, the problem is that you loose gas pressure. During the summer time it probably want be a problem. But my guess is 1/sec can be achieved easly, may be faster during the heat. The airsoft is a metal gun with the same weight as the original, frame width of the 40/35...

The DA pull is lower than my P229, that has action work done by Gray Guns Inc. The SA is pretty close. I have taken a look at the airsoft works and it looks like I can increase the DA trigger pull. It has a hammer spring setup real similar to the Sig. I just have not taken the time to try it, I have...

It does impact my purchases. I purchased my MKIII Hunter so I could shoot a little more. Then discovered 22LR ammo in some cases more than it cost me to reload my 9mm. I made a large purchase on primers, powder and bullets before all of the shortage hit. The purchase was large enough to last me for ...

Glad you found the cause. And that you took the urge to do it. Now you can do a detail cleaning every 700-1000 rounds and keep it running smoothly. Bullseye's tutorial are very good. The sear pin is suppose to have a interface fit on the right side. So there should be 1 end that will not install fre...

My brother has a P89 that has never been details stripped and cleaned. Is there a guide some where that show how to do it?

Here is the link that bullseye put together. It's a very good tutorial. Just have your gun on the desk while you step through the guide and you will be fine.

I have not shot lead through this gun yet. I've been lucky enough to find the copper plates.... The 31 gr do not have the recoil as the 38gr (AE22). I have had 1 that failed to lock the slide back on the last round. And about 6 to FTE (stove pipe). The gun is clean from a detail cleaning when I got ...

I got to shoot my MKIII this morning, all I can say is what an improvement. The trigger was smooth and crisp. The pull indicates to me lighter, even though I have no way of measuring it. I had a couple of stove pipes with this Federal #724 which is 31gr copper plated HP. I noticed that last time out...

He ended up driving the main spring latch from the bolt. He was unable to get any movement in the sear since the hammer was cocked and locked up. Once the main spring latch was removed it just came apart normally. Now he is going to do some VQ upgrades to it. I suggested that he look closely at the ...

Hammer pin backed out, have bolt locked up.
I have a user on another forum (Sig) that has a MK II that I diagnosed the hammer pin backed out causing the hammer to lock the bolt back. The user can not remove the Main spring strut from the bolt/barrel, bolt back hammer back. He says nothing will move. Here is the link that has photos and all of...
