At the club we have NRA weights and I will check the trigger this week. I have so many springs I couldn't tell you which one is in there now. Like I said I'll check it out this week and let you know what it weights.
Thanks,

Shot a 266 this Monday night, the T&R weren't to good. Shot my timed as if it was a rapid. Have to tell you I would be getting more points in my timed if I shot it like the timed. This is my short term thinking and know that it will be easier later if I shoot T&R the same, less stuff to think about....

Hi, I have a clark trigger, an V disconnector, V sear and hammer. When I go back to stock parts the weight is still low. I don't have the stock hammer anymore. Cleaned the top of the sear with a hard stone but didn't change the angle, just polished it up a little.
Thanks

I'm shooting indoors at 50 ft. and the targets are stationary. Maybe I could find a kitchen timer that buzzes twice. Right now my slow fire scores are better than timed and rapid which is backwards for me. Timed and rapid are about the same, I'm shooting them both as rapid. Not sure I like doing it ...

Started shooting the timed the same as rapid, one less thing to think about. Have to get use to shooting on the buzzer. Ready on the firing line, 21, 22, 23 and bang.......... sometimes. I know you mentioned not to count because your thinking about something, but I don't want to jump on the trigger ...

Still having a hard time getting the trigger up to 2lbs. It would be nice to have a sear spring in a heavier gauge. I think I polished to many things, pins, holes, surfaces. Like I mentioned I streched out a new main spring a little, don't think that made any difference. I got a heavier spring at th...

Adding weight

Started shooting again and can't seem to get my trigger up to the 2lbs I need. I have a 22/45. Only a couple of things I can think of to add weight to the trigger. One is the mainspring which is new and I even streched it a little. Two is I bent the sear spring, I bent the little arm that sits on th...

Wanted to say hi and happy to say one of the leagues I'm in started up. Shot a 262 last week and a 266 this week. One guy I shoot with shot a 280, he shot early on his timed so they took 10 points off of his score which would have been a 290. The kicker is he cleaned the timed target. The guy can sh...

I've read that if you put scotch tape over the cell it helps, I don't know how much brighter it makes it. Might be worth a try.

Remington Target 22lr ammo is just as bad, lot of missfires. Good thing they make good shotguns. I find CCI SV shoots good out of my gun.

Well you guys know what your talking about. Guess by counting I was trying to dress up the shot and put pressure on myself. No more leagues right now, good chance for my body to get rid of some lead. But in practice I will start shooting timed and rapid the same. One of my last matches I shot a 286,...

For the bullseye shooters out there, how much time are you pulling the trigger? Do you count in your head one thousand one - bang? Also do you vary trigger time on the different strings?
