As I have said, I downloaded Firefox browser and it's great. I did find one thing that is important to know - Firefox is extremely syntax sensitive. Pictures or graphics with any capitol letters in the URL address will not load with Firefox, even though other browsers like IE will display them regar...

Home made silhouette targets

Here is a little innovative way to recycle those pesky brown paper grocery bags. Step 1 - Lay a gorcery bag out, smooth it flat, and then cut the bag into equal halves along the red line. http://guntalk-online.com/images/silhouette001.jpg Step 2 - Take one half of the bag and cut along the edges (al...

OK, first I typed out a real nice response but my computer crashed. So I'm resubmitting this one after I switched browsers to Mozilla's Firefox. The NRA distinguished expert award is given for achieving an 90% or better overall score on a series of matches within a discipline, typically 10 consecuti...

I keep getting a connection refused error when I click on the link. I tried Firefox and IE, both errored. Went back to the link again and this time it loaded - Darn near popped her in the face with the recoil! The Desert Eagel is comfortable in my hand but it definitely fills up my palm. Kind of fee...

I changed my ISP over to Globat last night and eveything seems to have gone smoothly. My IE6 browser is acting up, but it's only on my machine. I switched over to Firefox and everything's running slicker than snake snot now. I also put in a Java Script code to temporarily divert anyone to the new ho...

My Internet browser has been acting funny since the ISP changeover, locking up my terminal when I switch around in the forums. I checked and only my machine is doing it, the others in the house are fine. I switched over to Firefox and everything appears to be running smoothly again. I'm not sure wha...

You must have really big hands for a Desert Eagle to be called your favorite. I have big hands and the Desert Eagle fills up my palm. Fun to shoot, but a big boy to hang onto. The last one I shot was a .357 magnum

Sorry for the inconvenience. Everything should work normally now. Our host change over is complete and I've removed the routing redirect coding this morning. If you continue to have problems, clear out your internet cookies for Guntalk, and clear out your temporary internet files for Guntalk and try...

Looking this morning, the server swap over didn't go well. I'm getting a MYSQL error from Mark II.org. When I go back to the root address I see the beginnng of a page but it's definitely not loading correctly. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Rook just started back up at school so he ma...

Welcome CWFI34,

All is safe. Rooks just backing up the system to transfer over to a new ISP. Should take a few hours and then Mark II.org will be back online - pending any unforseen circumstances. Lets hope all goes smoothly.

I'm sorry I missunderstood the problem with that compensator. I thought the reason for it not fitting was the different model, not a defective compensator. That really was the reason why I asked the question, because I thought the last time I checked the barrel O.D. dimensions were the same. Apparen...

You're right, Volquartsen has a real good customer service reputation. I've heard nothing but good things about Rimfire Sports also. Is the outer diameter of the Hunter barrel different than a regular bull barrel? Just curious because I haven't done anything with a Hunter model yet. Weren't you also...

Thanks Toy! I'm building a reference section to go with the forum; I'll add these PDFs to it. The website is at the www.guntalk-online.com URL. It's still in work but that's where everything is going to go. I'd like to add a basic troubleshooting section too. Any ideas will help, please keep the sug...
