Nice shooting! I've always dug Savage's rifles for their accuracy.... I haven't found one that shoots poorly (ok BOAM had one that wasn't super accurate but it was still darn good for the $)

The butt of the gun is curved a bit to " conceal better"... You need one to replace your 442. Also, you need to start using the security system. Just pull out the key and unlock the revolver when you need to use it. looks like a real help to the BG, keep the4 42, I do that sounds MY Airweight 442 d...

The other bonus to laser sights is you can aim from awkward positions where a normal sight picture isn't possible. Like after being knocked down on your butt.

Realistically speaking, you are most likely to use your SD gun either at very close range or in a home invasion scenario. At close range, point shooting will most likely take over . In a home invasion, it's dark, your eyes are fuzzy, etc. The laser will help you aim. Also that red dot is a great det...

I know I'm reviving an old thread.... but I finally mostly finished my ar15.... test fire and optic/sights to go. I learned a lot on the rifle's function and had a good time building it. I learned that an upper vice block is necessary, :oops:... and I think it's better to make what you want than buy...
