*SOLD* FS (AZ) Bushmaster XM15-E2S A3 M4 Type Carbine
SOLD Folks, I am looking to part with my black rifle to fund another project. It is the 11.5" barrel with permanently affixed 5.5" flash suppressor model. Comes with all the original goodies (sling, hard case, etc) and has an A3 type removable carry handle, HBAR 1 in 9 twist barrel, 6 position tele...

Mags
Wow! If those prices are for Glock factory mags (not the Asian clones), I will have a new place to buy mine too! Haka, please let me know when you get them if they are genuine Glock. I normally buy mine from here and when they have police turn-ins, the price is awesome. http://www.cdnninvestments.co...

500 Mag
The rearward pressure is apparently due primarily to the grip style. Modern grips tend push backward, while 'cowboy-style' grips tend to slide back and up in the hand reducing the felt recoil substantially.
At least in my experience.
Just my .02

Sad
Sad part is, a holster will not stop folks from shooting themselves... there are quite a few YouTube videos of folks (that actually 'should' know better) shooting themselves while drawing or re-holstering their weapons.

Got It!
I picked up the Henry Lever .22 mag rifle today. It has exceptional fit and finish. Going to really enjoy it. Will have to go plinking soon and see how it shoots. Love the huge buckhorn rear sight with laddered ears... will make Kentucky windage much easier. Only thing I will try to add is a hammer ...

I use CCI Stingers in the Target model (22" barrel") and did not go more than a couple feet above the balloons. While I used a laser range finder for checking distance, I used Kentucky windage (guesstimation) to adjust for elevation... it certainly did not look like more than 4 balloon lengths (7 " ...

No Worries Patrick ;-) I normally zero my .22 rifles for 100 yards, so the 250 yard balloon shots were not really spectacular, but still tons of fun. Course, the 20X scope helped a bit too. Hermit, if you are zeroed at 100, how many clicks is it to go to 250 or do you just hold over about 6 feet? L...

I totally agree with MH in this. I totally WANT a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .44 magnum so bad I can taste it, but I don't really NEED one. Would be a nice companion piece for my .44 lever rifle, but then almost any revolver/pistol COULD accompany it to the field... I just have this WANT, DESIRE...

.22s at 100 yards are a real hoot. I enjoy shooting balloons and empty soda cans with pistols at that distance. With a scoped rifle, I prefer 200-250 yards for plinking... would NEVER hunt at that distance, but I love popping balloons ;-) .22s are awesome fun, inexpensive (relatively), and a great t...

Understood Bullseye, I for one really appreciate all the time and effort you expend to keep this forum squared away. So many forums are completely saturated with garbage, spam, ads, nonsense these days. I was simply curious why some many folks would sign up for a forum, never post, and then list the...

I totally understand and agree MH... whenever I am on, I check to see the latest member and nearly all the time, they have either posted no interests or hobbies (could be a private individual - true) or they post interests and hobbies totally unrelated to the forum content. While this is fine by me,...
