Gun Nuts Media just posted this this morning, found by Google. The Ruger LC9. Ruger has "undoubtably created the next firearm that you must own" ?, yawn. I am so excited......

Another copy-cat plastic 9. Whoopee........

Looks familiar somehow.

My idea was better, but Ruger can probably make more $$ copying the KelTec line for the ninny customers who know nothing beyond brand loyalty.

it looks like a more regined version of the kel-tec like they did with the lcp....I like it, looks like it will be a superb carry piece

Yes, they refined the P3at and made the LCP, and then went right into a recall

they sorted all that out. lots of things have some bugs to work out when new that only come to surface when it gies to market......look at the auto industry

. lots of companies have been "borrowing" designs to come up with a "new" pistol, the XD for one comes to mind. now if they take that design and make improvements to function or controls thats a good thing. folks have been doing that for the last 100 years with the 1911.

I know that borrowing features is nothing new in the firearms industry (or other industries) but I'm starting to wonder if Ruger fired their R&D department and just follows KT on facebook now.

I think I'm on record as liking Ruger's designs in most cases, but they're going to have to add more than a mag interlock, manual safety, and LCI to the pf9 to "improve it".

One of the things I like about KT is their refusal to make CA-legal guns, I may buy a PF9 just to amuse myself now, I don't need another 9mm but I need the KelTec more than I need a lawyer-molested Ruger copy of it.
