Re: Remington ammo
Yup !! I used the last of mine about a year ago, and until Remington can show a real change in quality, improve it, and sustain it for a period of time, I've bought my last Rem. Ammo. Even the worst of the other cheap stuff is better.Hakaman wrote:Remington Thunderbolt 22lr ammo = won't shoot in my 22's !

BFD, if you take 50 to get rid of it you will earn every cent of it.Hakaman wrote:That's a good one BFD, LM_O ! I do agree with you though, the stuff is pure junk.I'll take $50 (+ expenses) to haul it away and dispose of it, Haka.
Hak, it may not be pure junk, but it is DAMN close for sure/
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.
I've had two bulk packs of the Golden Bullets, and they actually did okay in all my guns, maybe a few extra FTFs. But the gold finish leaves a sparkly mess all over your gun and hands. So then it gets in your cases and on your clothes. I've bought no more since.

These Federal Champions shot flawless at the range today, both in my Beretta Bobcat (finicky), and my Ruger Mk lll. I would recommend these to anyone wanting good bulk ammo.

Federal's were consistant, no duds, no weaklings, cycle every time.
Another thumbs up !

Glad to hear that the Remmies went to a new home at no added extra cot to you. As far as fun shooting play ammo I prefer the CCI Blazer or actually as they are labeled just "BLAZER". Have been able to get them for less than most of the bulk stuff with no shipping or no trip to Wally World to irritate me. Recently bought the last 3 Blazer my LGS had for $16.50 plus 6% MI tax. He got more in but they ran closer to 20 bucks, but still less than the bulk stuff. Buy as much as I can from my LGS as he has a marked price plus a BAOM price which is better yet.
