Michigan weather is phenomenal this year. Like BGreener said, I have had my car window down while driving. Usually this time of the year it's is high's in the teens with lows in the single digits. Today high of 40 sunny, tomorrow high of 47 sunny, no snow on the ground or in the near forecast.

And I decided 45 was too cold to go shooting this afternoon. Not that the MSU/UM game had anything to do with the decision. (Go

Stranger than peanut butter here in East Overshoe. 40 one day, single digits the next. 30º at 6:45am today, headed for a high of 40º.

Only snowed a half dozen times, and has invariably rained and washed it all away within 48 hours.

Haven't been shooting, but did take the motorcycle for a couple of short rides while sorting out carburetion issues.

Congrats on the Hummer, BAOM. I have a Savage 93 with the plastic furniture. Ugly as a mud fence but a tack driver as long as there isn't a cross wind.
An empty weapon is just a very expensive hammer.

Ohh, I thought he was referring to Michigan State University, who are the arch rivals of Univerisity of Michigan. Michigan State = "Go Green", U of Michigan = "Go Blue". My mistake, besides I was just kiddn, I like Mr Greener.

I'm partial to MSU. My eldest got two degrees from MSU. I went to football and roundball games. Friendly folks. I'd show up and they yell "Go! Greene". Also cheered some guy named White. Never met him.

My 2 youngest daughters got degrees at MSU. The older of the 2 went to school when Magic was playing.

Thirties and about 6 inches of snow Sunday (the first real snow all winter). Most of it disappeared yesterday. 22 this morning, 48 later today. Thursday forecast is 68. Weird weather for sure.

1/4" rain last night at my dad's in east Texas. High's in the 70 the rest of the week, with high winds. I'm busy building a Hog trap for my dad out of scrap tubing (1" sq) he had laying around. The problem is it's only 16ga so I'm going to have to double up for strength.
