Since I got my LCR, I have one problem that I had with .22s. Every time I pass ammo in a LGS, I get the urge to grab a box (or two, or three) of .38s.
I stopped my .22 addiction by buying five GI ammo cans as my "limit". This was during the "Great Ammo Shortage". I never realized how much they would hold, even in factory boxes......
I've been reducing my .22 stash this year. Most of it is $14.87 Wally World Federal packs. The good old days.
As my limit for the LCR, I got some of Plano's small ammo boxes, one 100 round and five 50 round. That holds 50 of my carry ammo, and 300 for the range. That should be a decent supply.

I'm reloading .380 because of the shortage and living off primers I hoarded. Guess it's time to start replenishing the primers.bigfatdave wrote:I'm not going to tell you how to run your ammo budget ... but we all lived through the panic/shortage 3-4 years back.
I, for one, will not be caught without a reserve again.
