Ammunition prices

Post by ruger22 » Wed Jul 25, 2012 11:45 am

Anybody have word of a price increase? A couple of people I know in LGS have heard rumors of one in September, but nothing certain. One heard 10-15%.......

At least, so far, they say business is just steady, with no run on guns and bullets like the '08 election caused. I guess most people are still stocked up from then........ :D

I think we can all agree it's all going to depend on which direction the political winds blow after these recent events.

I'd think the prices would be related to the price of copper, zinc, brass and lead. Unless there is some kink in the manufacturing system or an unexpected demand for the metals, prices shouldn't go up.
