Plastic/Steel 308 case

Post by charlesb » Fri Nov 14, 2014 7:38 pm

I found this weird plastic/steel .308 case at the gun range today.

As near as I can make out, the headstamp says:

7.62x51 DAG95K0506

Letters and numbers are pretty tiny, I may have got one or more wrong.

Can anybody enlighten me about this thing?

It's officially the weirdest thing in my picked-up brass collection, now.

It seems there's no limit to what companies will try to make of plastic.
