The stock included the studs for the sling, but not the sling. I picked up the sling, which included the clips, at a local sporting goods store for $20.
The only downside I've noticed with the stock so far is the short length (it's about the same as the original wood stock, just slightly longer). I have long arms and the pistol grip sort of enforces hand position, whereas I could 'choke up' on the old one. Another couple inches would be really nice.
Next up, an inexpensive but solid 'scope. (Is that an oxymoron? ) I've decided the varmint scope in the picture I posted is inappropriate for this rifle. I put it on mostly because I already had it.
