Marlin '60' trigger-(dis)assembly

Post by toyfj40 » Fri Sep 07, 2007 8:40 pm

just a referral...
if you hesitate to dis-assemble your Marlin-60 Trigger-assembly,
there is a nice set of photo&instructions posted on 'RFC'

http://www.RimFireCentral.com/forums/sh ... p?t=197703

It is an 8Mb PowerPoint "presentation" that includes some
15 or so nice clear step-wise photographs with brief comments,
to DIS, then RE-assemble...

FYI.

I put a nice old Marlin 989 M2 in layaway today, this is the one that looks like an M1 carbine. Has an old Weaver 4x scope on it. Does anyone know if it has the same action as the Model 60? Would like to give it a good cleaning after pick-up. Any other info on it would be nice also. TIA.

That 989 is virtually the same as the model 60 they even share the same instruction manual. Here's a link to a .pdf file on the Model 60/70/75/99/99m1/989m2

Hope this helps.
