mags

Hi all,
Just bought a 1975 Mk I. It is a standard model which I had drilled and tapped for a dot to be mounted.
I bought 3 mags for a Mk II to use in my Mk I but, they didn't fit good.
I did what Bullseye said and took material off from the bottom of the base so now I have an gap between the ejecter and my mags. I also noticed that my button followers when installed slided under the frame at the top. That made it hard to pull out the mags. What I did was take the mags apart and added JB weld to the top of the buttons. When dried I put the buttons in a drill and used a file to clean them up and get the correct height needed. If they are to tall you can't insert the mags. In my gun it is two times the height of the button. Now the buttons can't get stuck under the frame and they release easier. Hope this helps someone.
