I shot in the SR league again, and the results aren't that impressive. I was still feeling the effects of the flu I had a couple days earlier though. I just didn't seem to have any strength. No excuses with the lighting, as the sun lit up the targets just fine. There's so many things that go into being successful in these matches, I don't think the average person realizes. I need to work on the off hand shooting, it takes a huge amount of points from me. If I had gotten, say, 8's on the 2 misses in the offhand, I would have been happy with a 423. Gotta work on that OH.

OH = 67 (2 misses)
Sitting = 91
Prone RF = 90
Prone SF = 159
---------------------------
Total = 407

I couldn't help bragging a little today, I accomplished a goal I set at the beginning
of the year: to shoot a score of 450 or higher. I'm surprised I got it because of distractions,
and not feeling comfortable on the firing line. On the SF Off Hand, I stopped in the middle
to help a fellow shooter "unjam" his rifle. I also never felt comfortable on the
RF Sitting stage. I did, however have my best SF Prone score ever. I really
concentrated hard on this stage, because it has been a difficulty for me. I still
pulled/flinched on a few shots.

Congratulation on making your goal so early. :D

I find that the days I do not feel very good I seam to shoot the best at time, some times not. It all gets down to not over thinking the shot and let thing fly on memory reflex. You actually relax better trying to conserve energy.

You are really improving Haka damn few out of the black. You can now take it with you and feel safe South of 8 Mile.

I not sure if there is anything that would make me feel safe down there. Unfortunately, I can't carry during work hours, it's against company policy.

ps....oops, I accidently deleted my photobucket folder,
that's why some pictures are missing from earlier posts.
What is the alternative to photobucket for picture posting?
