4 years ago, I bought a MEC 600 JR. Mark 5 in 12 ga. Then got busy and it just live in its box til today. I added the primer feed tray, and already had a bunch of other accessories. It took me about 2 hours to get it all fine tuned, and tweaked to run the way I wanted it, but then it only took about 30 min to load 2 boxes. Cheaper than the Big Box places. I have on hand about 150 lb of shot that I got back when it was a lot cheaper.

When I first bought this press, I almost got a set of dies for .410 too, but for only a few dollars more than the dies cost, I just got another press set up for 410. Less hassle that way. So....Tomorrow its 'Set up the .410 press day".
Makes for good days though.

Love mine!

Learned to reload on Dad's back in the 60's, so when it came time for my own it was a no-brainer.

Same deal on the second caliber: Just as easy to buy a second press set up for 20ga.

My 600jr is still running after 40+ yrs. I have the 12 and 20 ga dies for mine. Shot has got real expensive to what it was way back then. My dad could not find any out where he was, so I mail ordered it in for him. The WW powder I use has changed names now, 540 = WSF. They no longer sell the WW20A1 1oz wadding, they want you to use the 7/8 oz one. I had about 500 of the A1 so I'm still in pretty good shape for now.

Good little press.

I have three of them - two 12s and a .410.
And a 650 in 20 ga.
Easy to use. Reliable to a fault.
