Mech-Tech - Any One Shooting One

Post by wlambert » Sat Sep 26, 2009 10:29 am

Is anyone shooting one of these? Last week I shot one mounted on a 1911 frame. It was after bullseye league, so I was shooting light target cast .45 ACP loads. The mech-tech shot real nice. It seemed reasonably accurate with a red dot scope on top.

I have a 1911 that I am not shooting right now and am really tempted to get one of these.

Does anyone have any experience with the mech-tech or know anything about them?

Had one for several years, used as a short range pig rifle. It worked very well and was reasonably accurate out to 100yds with .45's. The model I had also shot what was called a Roland 460, which is essentially a hot rodded .45acp.
