S&W 41 mags

I have two mags that are hard to get out of mag well after a string of firing. Is there something wrong with the mags I have cleaned the mag well.

How do they eject if the slide is closed?

If the magazine releases freely with the slide closed, the follower could be hanging up on the slide release lever. Some of the newest M-41 magazines have been experiencing this situation. You can see if this is happening with the barrel off and insert and remove mags with the slide locked back.

I have two that drop about half an inch after pressing the mag release I use a small screwdriver to get them out.
