Have you checked with Ruger? They list the GP-100 red insert sight in ShopRuger.com, out of stock, for $15.23. It usually doesn't take them long to re-stock.

If you call Ruger in New Hampshire, 1-603-865-2442 (weekdays only), they may have it now. The online store is in AZ, where pistols are made. Revolvers and rifles are made in NH. Many times AZ is out of parts that NH has.

I also looked at Brownell's. They show a red insert front for Redhawk, but backordered, for $10.99. Two front blades for GP-100, described as blued, and fixed. No insert in description. I did see the Redhawk part number did not match either GP-100 number. I don't think the sights interchange.

* SP-101 .22LR, w/ Wolff springs
* Two NAA Guardian .32ACP
* Three Zastava M70 .32ACP
* S&W 15-22 Sport (.22LR AR)

You could also try Numrich Gun Parts....

They list the front sight w/red insert (Redhawk) for $13.25 and they ship as fast as Ruger.

I love Numrich ;-)

BTW... Just checked again and saw the parts probably do not interchange (as stated above)... Redhawk front sight is PN# 508710A (red insert) and GP100 is PN# 286060 (blued only).

thanks for the replies!
I was told by someone who own's a redhawk and a gp that he switchs sights between the two and finds no defferance, But I understand what you are saying.
I will probably have to order one, or I guess I could just get some nail polish and paint the stock one, and be done with it?
