I'm now using the avatar I used on Ruger Forum. I've changed the GTOL bouncing red car into a "possessed cat". There is no such thing as a Bearcat animal, so I thought this was close.
The old car represented my view of myself, the cat is self explanatory.......
Now OM's Bear avatar can chase mine around the forum........

Bear assigns the chaising duties to younger dogs, he just supervises now.ruger22 wrote:I'm now using the avatar I used on Ruger Forum. I've changed the GTOL bouncing red car into a "possessed cat". There is no such thing as a Bearcat animal, so I thought this was close.

You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Smart dog. Now that he's got a little 'seniority', he should do less of the hard work.bearandoldman wrote:Bear assigns the chaising duties to younger dogs, he just supervises now.
I have two male West Highland Terriers and a female we're not sure what. Kind of a Lhasa Apso with Pomeranian face and fur. The oldest Westie knows he's the boss, too.
I like cats okay, but much more of a "dog person".

Ohhh, that's mean!...
Actually, after seeing the cat here, it doesn't "fit". I'm back to the old car.

I don't know, something like this http://www.uc.edu/about/history.html isn't a cute kitty as others. The University may not like you using one of theirs.

This one is a bit fiercer http://www.warbirdalley.com/bearcat.htm

Dunno, I've seen dogs quickly withdraw from nosing too close to a cat. We have two, both approaching 20 years old. One, left by my eldest so we wouldn't miss her when she went to college, tells me when it is time to go to bed, time to get up and other important functions. The really terrifying part is that I read that cats can live over 30 years. Mention of the 4-cent solution is not allowed.Medicine Hat wrote:cats make good dog toys.
Those were interesting. I never realized there was an actual animal called a bearcat. The F-8F reminded me of something I saw on TV about Darryl Greenamyer having the piston engine record with one, about 485 mph.greener wrote:I don't know, something like this http://www.uc.edu/about/history.html isn't a cute kitty as others. Cat flight, with one of the remaining Bear Cats.
Not sure if it still is a regular feature in Kalamazoo, but most of them are owned by a private museum.

I'll bet it's a nice show. I got to catch several Navy airshows when I worked for Beechcraft at NAS Whiting, near Pensacola. I've seen the F3F mentioned in the Cat Flight site, among others. The Pensacola museum is great. One of these days I've got to see the Air Force museum in Dayton.
