I'm glad to see a town council that sticks to there principles. Too often they'd just back off and let him slide to retirement. Wasn't the fictional town of Mayberry supposed to be in North Carolina?

It's nice to see him retire without loosing his job, but in a different assignment.
It is surprising that some of the people you expect to be good shooters, because
of their profession, rarely practice and are poor shooters.
