states making a stand

Post by bgreenea3 » Sat Jan 26, 2013 8:56 am

So far as I have heard several states, 8 I think, have passed legislation indicating that if the feds pass an assault weapon ban the state will neither support nor enforce it. I heard on the news radio that 24 other states have this pending. Michigan has pass this and other legislation in the last week protecting grin rights.

Now if you were a senator from a state passing gun rights laws, why would you support any of the AWB laws being introduced. Like the gentleman from MI Senator Carl Levin supporting the magazine ban?

The Prez cast the first stones during his first term when he selectively chose to enforce (ignore) the nation's laws, what do they expect, the states are just playing "follow the leader".
