Read on another forum that Remington has been bribed to stay in NY. They got an eight million dollar Fed contract for sniper rifles, with some "local incentives" thrown in. If that's all true, I'm glad I don't have and never plan on a Remington. I never liked their ammo, either.

Remington is a business. If they get the best deal by staying in NY, then they probably should. Also, Remington management probably has a history of living in NY and do not want to move. We'll see.

I like a lot of Remington firearms, but the ones I like have already been made, probably.

Yeah, it appears they are in the process of relocating, so they say.

I am glad to see them make a stand. I feel bad for all the current employees that will be losing their jobs though (I'm sure re-location for many of the workers, especially floor level, is not an option).
