Increased Accuracy Bullet

Expands to 14 inches after fired. A shotgun would be 24"

I can't help but think that the velocity would bleed off awfully fast, and penetration would not be optimal.

If any single component fails or if it glances off of something, it could wind up anywhere.

OK for close work though, seems like.

The comments at the bottom of the story were interesting.

If you happen to miss you may hit 3 thighs instead of 1. Not good the way Tx law is, since were responsible for every thing it hits.

Is this like a Bolo round ? I think I saw a video test on this stuff and wan't too impresssed .

I'd guess those fine wires, or whatever they are, could cut. If the round hit a limb at close range, like an arm, couldn't they just wrap around and slice one off? There are a lot of legalities here. I think it's an interesting approach, but no substitute for good marksmanship.
