Gunbroker tips?

Post by ruger22 » Tue Sep 30, 2014 2:28 pm

I've been watching High Standard Sentinels on Gunbroker. I've only seen two Sentinels besides mine in my actual area in five years time. One was a very early model, one a 22WMR, so not what I wanted. So I may do GB for a second one, once I have the cash....... :(

I understand their autobid system, similar to eBay. The 15 minute rule seems to keep things honest. Plus, I think I'd trust actual gun shop sellers more, and a larger number of positive feedback would look better to me.

I only have one FFL convenient to me that accepts GB guns, and his fee is $30 total. I've heard of fees a lot worse.

Any other tips or experiences anyone can offer?
* 2 Ruger Bearcat stainless, w/ EWK ejector housings & Wolff springs
* Ruger SP-101 .22LR, w/ Wolff springs
* 2 NAA Guardian .32ACP
* 3 Zastava M70 .32ACP
* S&W 15-22 Sport (.22LR AR)
* 2 Ruger SR22 .22LR pistols

I've had good luck working with Guns International. - But that was in selling things, I've never bought from there.

No experience with Gun Broker, only know that it's one of the main online auction sites.
