You know those 'bug lights' that attract insects with UV light, then zaps them?

I wonder how useful it might be if gun clubs around the country sponsored 'Mohammed Cartoon Contests' on the bug-light principle?

Shooters and local artists could join forces to establish that no, there are no 'ifs, and or buts' involved with freedom of speech here in the US.

Just say "No" to dhimmitude. - It's just not our style.

I understand he's keeping a low profile, which is to be commended, I think. The guy did a great job.

I use to live in Garland yeas ago, and no the area. They have been keeping every thing tight lip which they should, not tipping the hand on there tactics. Unlike the (loose) nut at the top we currently have leading this country. I have not heard of what distance the shots were made from or what caliber beside a Glock was used. Some reported 40cal while other say 45acp. All the info says he only fired 2 shots, which makes it more outstanding to his capability.

Since this was an older gentlemen I may have shot with him at the range 30 yrs ago. They use to use the Pubic range back then for general practice, they shared a center with Richardson I believe before they built there own facility.

What those two idiots didn't realize is in Texas the word "draw" has a whole different meaning.

It wasn't really a cartoon drawing contest, it was a "Draw, Mohammed!" contest.

Current news stories are now claiming a SWAT team shot the shooters, not the traffic cop. Why would the facts change after several days? Are they just trying to save the SWAT team some embarassment that a lowly traffic cop did their job?

Several reports have said that the event organizers set back 10 grand for the prize, and another ten for security.

Bug zapper.

Those things really work.

May have cost them 20 grand, but the results were priceless!

Like those old Mastercard commercials used to say in their tag lines.

It seems the biker Phoenix protest had mixed results.

I believe I just read the organizer went into hiding because of the death threats.

Here's a slightly different opening for Gunsmoke, done as a joke on the rest of the cast:
