July 4th

Post by ruger22 » Mon Jul 04, 2016 2:55 pm

I hope everyone's having a pleasant, safe Fourth. Drizzly here, with storms forecast that will probably cancel fireworks. Soggy cookouts today, if any. Kind of reflects the condition of the country, but there is still hope it can get better. Needs to get a lot better. I find it hard to feel patriotic, but we are still somehow the best country on Earth.

I even took a four day weekend, but no shooting for me..... .......Postponed yard projects squeezed in between showers, and too hot to shoot with any enjoyment, anyway. Next weekend even worse, with mid-90s forecast, but I may hit the range in spite of it.

Yep, it was a rainy day in Richmond. Then I thought I'd watch 1776, but it certainLee wasn't on.
