I showed you guys my Colt Detective Special a few weeks ago well now I got a question on it. The hammer on this pistol has a spur and if you touch the end of the spur w/ the tip of your finger and move your finger the spur moves a little. Is this supposed to happen and if so, why?

If you are referring to the firing pin "spur" on the front of the hammer, the answer is, yes, it should be somewhat loose..
