The Fourth at the Firing Range

Post by charlesb » Sat Jul 04, 2015 9:16 am

Hamburgers and hotdogs today - and a trip to the firing range. The day to celebrate and appreciate our freedoms with family and friends.

I thought about running out to the range yesterday but I gave it up to spend time with the family. I can do the range thing anytime. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday.

I would have liked to shoot, but rained most of Fourth and I'm still waiting on correct springs for SP from Wolff anyway. Rained most of yesterday, and some heavy rain this morning. Messed up my yardwork, too, past due and soggy. I hope everyone else had a dry Fourth......

We popped off a few rounds at the range as a substitute for fireworks.

That's what I said when I packed the range bag on Saturday. But I decided to stop by Lowe's. Made it to the range today.

Decided I needed a charcoal grill to go with the gas grill. My cookouts were ribs on Saturday and a turkey on Sunday.

Next time. That turkey had been in the freezer for about 3 years.
