Poor boy's trigger job
Is anyone of you familiar with this mod? And if so is it reliable? I did it to my new Ruger and it does make the trigger action lighter....

Or I can slip my new 22 SA Ruger into the holster :D :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0703/George/22LR/22LR-1.jpg Of course it needs tuning, and a bit of polishing to keep up with his bigger brother Mr.45 but that's only a matter of time. A set of Wolf springs, and a bit of rubbing ought to do t...

Well, I went to visit my buddy today (the one who sold me my Vaquero/holster) and I had a surprise waiting for me. Another holster just like the one he originally sold me, only this is not a cross draw. Plus an Alpine spotting scope. He told me he wasn't using them any more so he felt they should go...

Well folks, I did a bit more shooting yesterday and I do believe my MarkII likes the Federals better than the Remingtons. The upper target was my last of the day because well it was a great time to stop since I don't believe I could ever top it  Please understand I am not bragging here, after a...

I had to purchase a value pack (box of 500) of Remingtons about a year ago because that's all that was available to me at the time so am just trying to burn through them. I won't buy them again that for sure. Federals are cheap as well but my Ruger likes them even though it doesn't shoot them as acc...

Bullseye, I have a "tunned" RRA trigger in mine and love it. I believe the one I installed in my friend's AR was a Jewell but I'll have to verify. Didn't like his as much as mine in that the trigger pull is heavier...but it breaks cleanly at least. Yea, my Mark II seems to like shooting the Remingto...

Here's my first Vaquero target at 10 yards. I used my reloads which were 200gr lead RN over 6.5 gr tightgroup. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0703/George/Vaquero/VaquerotargetJuly222007.jpg Unfortunately at 25 yards my groups opened up because I can't hardly see the target any more. These 4 reloa...
