Here's another target from Saturday guys and I'd say that it was a most enjoyable day. We started off shooting my buddy's AR15 (who's trigger I swapped out with an after-market job for better performance), 100 rounds or so, and then we shot my Vaquero, and finally my Mark II. I let him shoot quite a...

John fox, what instrument did you use to file the front sight blade, and how much did you file it? Nine also insists on shooting low and to the left a bit. BTW, mine is the SS version so I don't want to mess it up or make it look bad since I can't cover it with bluing. Any and all info on how to do ...

What do you guys think?
I made these grips yesterday. Not my best wood work, plus it took me about 3 hours so it proved deceptively more difficult to complete them. But I had this chunk of flamed maple I felt compelled to do something with, and what better Saturday evening exercise than to dress up my new Vaquero (guess I'...

New Vaquero
Hi all, yesterday I bought a Ruger Vaquero (older model) from a buddy of mine who has quite a few in his bag of tricks (he made me a deal I couldn't pass on). It's practically new, tunned to perfection (Wolf springs, including a trigger job and a trigger which breaks at 2lbs 14.2oz). It came with a ...

Gentlemen, it's been a while since I shot my MarkII but here's the results at 25 and 50 yards (first 3 pics). http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/0703/George/22LR/ This is one sweet shooting pistol, thanks again to the membership, and especially to Bullsey, for all the invaluable info I received putti...

Bullseye is dead on again, I filled my AR15 (DPMS lower) with lead shot. It makes it much more of a pleasure to shoot, albeit heavier....if you're benchresting of course that's not an issue. I absolutely love shooting all my K31s (and a circa 1899 96/11 long rifle), the Swedish M96 and M38 mausers, ...

Bullsey, I don't know what model my rifle is, there's nothing written on the barrel or receiver with that info. The stamps say that it was made in Birmingham England by Parker-Hale LTD, and it includes the serial number. There's also a few other stampings like crowns, and two crossed swords, I'll tr...
