The lack of a decent Ruger Mark Air-Soft may lead to considering the Sig Sauer P226 Air-Soft (from Sig). It's expensive. Does anyone know about this Air-Soft :?:

Since my niche seems to have devolved to Steel Challenge type plate matches, the important skills are a series of quick sight acquisitions and, as always, good trigger manipulation. I guess sight acquisition with a similarly balanced practice gun is about as important, in this case, as a quality tri...

Is Air Soft a home practice option for Ruger Mark II's?

I'd like to increase my practice time/experience (for speed plate shooting) by finding an Air Soft product that will closely mimic my two Ruger 22/45's. I even have a Clark grip set that creates a near 22/45 grip angle if any Ruger-type Mark air soft guns exist (non 22/45) that have removable grips....

Am going to review and research a bit, and get back here with results. No use speculating until I do. Couple of days at most. My plate shooting is on a five shot, plus make up shot(s) (aarrrgh!!), course of fire, so if I ever get close to 10 rounds expended, I'd rather be in Philadelphia, anyway. If...

I'm beginning to see how consistently well Ruger tries to handle most customer concerns. There's a Mark III 22/45 Hunter 4 1/2" for sale in a well reputed pawn shop in my small town for $425. It's been sitting there for more than two months. That's surprised me. I'm speculating, but I don't think th...

Mark III 22/45 Hunter frame - hammer pin problems resolved??

I haven't been able to find information about whether the problems causing damage to some Mark III 22/45 frames has been solved by Ruger, or not. I thought the problem was due to very early wear AND TEAR by the hammer pivot pin enlarging its hole in the thin Mark III 22/45 frame. Considering saving ...

VQ Bomar Style rear sight

Hi Hardball. Hope your beginning to get used to and enjoy your VQ/Bomar-like rear sight. Have been hopeful of gaining the advantages of this change myself. The rumor that's been keeping me back so far, is that someone posted a note that the VQ/Bomar style did not fit properly in the dovetail of thei...

VQ or Ranch Products ext. mag release? Also rushusa.com Co.?

Sorry to be posting all over like I've been. But this is B.E.'s place. Nuff said. Recommending to a generous friend who's let me borrow his older MkII Std Target for a couple of months, that he obtain an extended magazine release to prevent calouses on his thumb (and mine, next time). Both Ranch Pro...
