That's a fine looking 1911. We had five of the RIA Compacts in the family here. I had to do a little fine tuning on them and they have been running just fine for a couple of years now. I lost mine in a hot trade for a old Marlin .30-30 I want.

Good luck with it... :D

They look good to me. If I am reading the site right they are $62.95 + shipping. Think I'll start saving for a set. Thanks for the post there Mr Jstanfield. :D

Those sights would be great for shooting pins, plates, and steel too. I am thinking of a set for my MK-III 22/45 maybe. Good luck with yours. :D

We used nothing but kerosene, Hoppes, and 3in1 oil for many years. Used old cotton or flannel shirts cut up for patches. :)

I have seen that picture many times over the years. I believe it was a double charge of some fast burning powder is what they say caused it.

This is a shinning exsample of the liberal mind set. I found out a long time ago that liberals are very passionate about what they believe in. Trouble is they don't know what they believe.

That's my kind of lady. After all she's been through just loosing her husband and having a new baby, the dirt bags show up. I guess our society is getting so big that we are producing a high rate of dirt bags.
