I have been checking out Rimfire Central for a few months now, and pretty much agree with everyone here about that forum. I think the problem over there is there there are just to many people posting, you end up with a lot of very different opinions and a small percentage of good use full informatio...

I called Ruger to make sure they got the letter stating the FFL I wanted my gun sent to, and to check on the progress of my repair. The woman I spoke with said she didn't really know how long it would be, but guessed 7-10 business days. I was hoping for less time but what can you do. It has been 13 ...

I think I will get a new serial number, I don't completely recall what the letter said, but the way I understood it they meant it would have a new number.

I have somewhat of a update on my gun after being sent to Ruger. In the letter I sent with my gun I mentioned that along with the hammer pin hole problem, my gun had severe breech face battering like what you can see in Georgezilla's post about the battering he had on his gun. The letter they sent m...

I could deal with some of the corners of the boxes being a little smashed, but one of the bricks I bought fell apart when I grabbed it to pull it out of the box, most of the small boxes within the brick a little roughed up but two boxes were smashed and damaged the actual ammo. Oh well, I will give ...

Ordering ammo online, always damaged.

I was just wondering for those of you if any, that order ammo online, do you have problems with it always being damaged during shipping? I have ordered ammo online maybe 4-5 times, and three times know there was at least a couple boxes smashed. Each shipment was through UPS, but I think the problem ...

I understand what your thinking about there being a timing issue, because the hole has been that way for a while but the miss firing has just recently become more often. Earlier tonight the guy at Ruger actually called me in regard to the issue, I called a few days ago to actually speak to a person,...

I was just thinking, could it be possible in some way with my hammer pin hole to just smash the metal back to form, closing the size of the hole back to wear it was.

I just had a similar experience with Ruger. Even though you and I both sent very clear pictures of the problem, they still insist to have it shipped out for evaluation. They told me they would send a shipping label, but if the issue with my gun was determined not to be there fault, then i would be c...

My breech face looks just like that, I have about 40,000 rounds through my gun. I never really worried about it much, i just figured it was normal wear, but apparently it is not good. I already have excessive wear problems with my frame.

I'm not sure what I am going to do yet, another thing is, if Ruger decides the problems are from normal use, and not manufacturing error, they charge for what they replace. Only the hole on the right side looks like that, the one on the left side really isn't that bad, for some reason the right side...

The range I shoot at is only $100 a year. There is a combination lock on the door, and you can just come and go as you please any time of the day. It seems to be kind of a rare set up, and cheaper than most places, but thats always been the idea, to keep it affordable.
