While the 41 is generally a more refined pistol, personally I cannot tolerate the grip, just not my cup of tea. Much rather shoot one of my Rugers or Benelli. To each their own.

That restriction is such a, pardon me, b.s. law that it should be criminal. The snit that states come up with never cease's to amaze me.

Very nice Tbag, any idea how rare the alloy frame models might be? The original high cap before others caught up. Regards How rare they actually are I really don't know. That said as far as I know there has not been that many imported into the USA that I know of to date. All I really know is that N...

I had taken a couple more photos, but I had the early morning 4 cup coffee shakes, so they really didn't come out clear. But I'll post a clear side view that shows it once I break out the tri-pod.

I too never thought the all steel model was too heavy to be toted, but this does put it in a new light. One day I would like to mill slide for dovetailed sights, but for now the original sights are quite acceptable as I shoot this pistol very well and runs like a top. I actually stippled the grip an...

An old beater given some life

Here's a 30 year slightly worked over FN Hi Power that sports an alloy frame. Due to the frame being manufactured out of an alloy it reduces the weight of the 32oz down to 25oz's. This reduction really makes it extremely easy to carrier, much more so than the all steel version. Feels about like some...

I've had this happen a couple times in two different AR's with Black Hills factory reloaded ammo, the blue box stuff. Never made me feel good when it occured, but dang that stuff was/is accurate.

I'd do as Bullseye suggested, may be take it a step further and hit with some JB Bore Paste.

I have a Hi Std Duramatic that I've been shooting since I was a kid, it's always been a solid performer. For $300 with a Colt pony, likely you missed out.

I've been running with an RWS model 36, and since I scoped it recently it has seen some increased action. While not in the same league as FWB, it seems to hold it own...within reason. Then again I also got it for a song and a dance, they must have liked my legs. LOL.
