I kinda prefer the moly koting products a bit better as they seem to be tougher and applied thinner. YMMV

Duracoat will absolutely help your rust issue. I am actually comtemplating having a keltac slide done also, possible this weekend.

Looks like it will work for you. While I own something similar, two points of observation I notice. Your scope seems to be set back pretty far for comfortable shooting. And it would seem your scope mount may be on backwards, although that really shouldn't matter too much if everything else is workin...

Tried this pillar method on some cheap after market stock, it was going great until I couldn't get the forearm cap back on as the barrel raised more that I anticipated. Novel idea though.

Skip the powder coat, it will make you pistol look a cheap Turkish copy. Norrels, Gun Kote, duracoat or hard chrome it.

Negitive would be its size, you need a sherpa to tote that thing to range.

Don't know if I could get over the idea of not having an attachment device. It make out of some sort of rubber, where I come from it's going to make for a hot spot where ever it rides.

I guess it is a novel idea for one mans mexican carry for occasional use.

Recently traded out for a Busnell Trophy 1-4x28 30mm which has a single 1 moa red dot. Really impressed with it considering the cost, I'd buy another one. The 1x really seems to be very close to a true 1x too of which most lower end scopes are not. I'd up against the Millet DMS and the Leatherwood a...

Browning hands down to the other. But a serious look should be given to the Ruger as I prefer not to remove screws to clean a gun.

You should install the clip cover if you plan on leaving them loaded as it helps back the bullets off the lips of the mag's reducing the spring pressure on them.

Lucky you, your post took me by surprise as I didn't think Wally sold pistol anymore. Know they haven't sold them in S. Fla. in close to a hundred years or at least it seems like it.

I got a reply from Nikon last week and was pleasantly surprised to read that the Monarch can handle a springer. They said I could use with no issue and it would not void the warranty if used on an air rifle. Now I am waiting on a return email from Aimpoint, as I am toying with putting my Comp3 2x2 o...
