I kinda prefer the moly koting products a bit better as they seem to be tougher and applied thinner. YMMV
Duracoat will absolutely help your rust issue. I am actually comtemplating having a keltac slide done also, possible this weekend.

Looks like it will work for you. While I own something similar, two points of observation I notice. Your scope seems to be set back pretty far for comfortable shooting. And it would seem your scope mount may be on backwards, although that really shouldn't matter too much if everything else is workin...

Recently traded out for a Busnell Trophy 1-4x28 30mm which has a single 1 moa red dot. Really impressed with it considering the cost, I'd buy another one. I got a reply from Nikon last week and was pleasantly surprised to read that the Monarch can handle a springer.
