Choosing a recoil spring for S&W 6906

I'm looking at Midway's site and they have the S&W springs for $1.99. Would I be better off getting a Wolff spring in a 16 or 17lb? I normally shoot cheap stuff on the range, but keep JHPs in it for when it's on the nightstand. Also, would it be a good option to spring for the front night sight? Tha...

Sighting in an LCP with a Crimson Trace

I am just getting a Crimson Trace laser for my LCP. It says that the CTs are sighted in at 50yds from the factory. I think I need to adjust it. What would be an appropriate range to sight it in? I'm thinking about 20ft max. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

I have been using one or the other at outside ranges. Plugs are a lot more comfortable when shooting rifles. If I ever went to an indoor range, I would really consider both.

Unable to change email address

I am trying to change my registered email address to a different one with no luck. It is a gmail address, does that matter?

Thanks!

Range report of Colt M4 .22lr

I took her out for the first time yesterday evening. I had given the last of my paper targets to my brother, so I shot at a steel cutout. Plus the "ping" is satisfying. Keep in mind, this is straight out of the box. I had 1 stove pipe during the first magazine Where the round did not escape before t...

Opinion of Heritage SA revolvers

What is the general opinion of Heritage SA 22lr/22mag revolvers? They seem alright to me, esp. for $199. I know they aren't a Ruger, and I'd like to have a Single Six one day. I have read how a lot of folks don't like the idea of a safety, but that does not bother me. I would like opinions from REAL...

Question about picatinny rails

Yesterday I bought a Colt M4 .22lr Ops. I can't wait to take it to the range! My question is about the picatinny rails. How do I take the covers off of them? I don't want to break the clips.

WTB - standard buttstock for a Moss. 500 (VA)

I'm looking for a standard stock to go on my Mossberg 500. I don't know if I'm a pistol grip fan.

Holster suggestion for LCP

I happened to get my hands on an LCP. I'm looking for an IWB holster that allows me to tuck my shirt in. I did get an Uncle Mike's #10 IWB holster, which will work fine in some situations, but I would like another option. Thanks in advance,

I went by the shop Saturday. They test fired it and experienced the problem for themselves. They swapped out the recoil spring and re-tested. I'm glad it malfunctioned on them and they now know what is/was wrong. I plan on going to the range tomorrow and testing out the fix. There is a noticable dif...
