Thanks, Bullseye.... and it goes without saying (even if I'm gonna say it!) that you and this forum of yours were of incredible help, advice, and information when I started out in Bullseye pistol....couldn't have done it without you guys! Thanks...... (By the way, as I've said before, Bullseye Pisto...

Last night!
Fired my last night of indoor pistol competition, and I had an all-time high: 87 slow fire, 92-2X timed fire, and a 95-3X rapid fire for a total of 274-5X! Yessir..... I had the night's high scratch score; I won a brick of ammo (some good, some medium, and two boxes of "ehhhhhhh......);" and I ended...

Utter nonsense.... I've competed for years in high power rifle silhouette with a Remington 700 in .260 Remington. I've fired hundreds of rounds through the rifle with nary a mishap or misfire or accidental discharge.... others more experienced than me have fired thousands of rounds through their 700...

After looking over the website I see that your stock is more custom than I thought. PDC doesn't list a stock for the Anschutz action. However there's a lot of modular construction to the design and a little cutting is all that's needed to make a tailored fit. Which stock action style did they use a...

Craig at PDC kind of custom-made mine for me, and since he doesn't have an FFL, he had to find someone close to him with an Anschutz so he could do the measurements. When it came, it fit fairly well, although a machinist friend had to hog out some near the tang...... $500. He's making them for all k...

Yeah, I've been thinking along those lines..... think I'll use the Anschutz 1813, maybe rig some irons on it, and even practice by sitting and finding the position, fire, reload rapidly from a container of bulk, re-establish npa, then fire again, and so... can you think of anyway that could screw me...

Hi-power practice with rimfire rifles?
I'm a "born-again" high power shooter, returning after a couple of decades (Bucket List issue -- want to get my Distinguished). I have a good AR, and a thousand good rounds for it, and a thousand more primed and trimmed brass. My question is: I'd like a dedicated .22lr upper for practice since I hav...

Range night again last night, and I've solved all my 22/45 mag problems.....which weren't really problems at all! Insert gently, push just slightly forward and they all snapped in just like they're supposed to......! Whacking them in like a movie star doesn't work! (Did I mention how smug I get when...

Plastic gun solvent......
For some reason, my small town Bi-Mart no longer stocks Birchwood-Casey Synthetic Gun Scrubber........ What's safe to use instead to clean my synthetic 22/45? I used WD-40 last night before Gallery........ I want some spray agent to knock the crud away from the hammer/sear area and the trigger plung...

Thanks, Blue, I'm having a great time! Hey, I know this is an impossible question, but do you have any suggestions on how to address the problem of a different zero on each segment? I'm slightly high right on slow fire, low left on Timed Fire, and all over the place on Rapid! Lol... I think it's my ...

Think I got it....small burr on the Notaro mag pad on the offending mag, which I scraped away with a pocket knife....also, a little forward pressure (toward the muzzle) on the pads and the mags snap right in..... what happened last night was the mag wouldn't seat, so I gave it a hard slap with my pa...

22/45 mag problems?
I had a magazine get "stuck" in my 22/45 last night....first time ever.... the top round wouldn't feed, and seemed jammed up above the feed ramp. And for awhile, I couldn't eject the magazine..... it finally popped loose. Any issues with 22/45 magazines? Since I have Notaro after-market grips, I hav...

Mine likes Federal Champion Value Pack and CCI Standard Velocity..... it also shoots and feeds Wolf Target well, but I'm saving that for silhouette rifle..... Actually, I think my 22/45 shoots better with the Value Pack, but I'm so new to the pistol game I don't know for sure..... I might actually t...

Clean a 22/45 how often?
This is probably been talked over a billion times already, but, how often do you strip and clean a 22/45 MKIII.........? I'm loving my little R-gun; with a target bull barrel, Volquartzen kit, screw-on aftermarket grips, used Millet Red-dot..... $245 plus $85 or so for the Volq stuff, $30 for the re...
